On October 23 and 24, MITRE is convening a vibrant community of 250 leading threat hunters, software product companies, and technical influencers in cybersecurity to learn, meet, and network with devotees and adopters of the MITRE ATT&CK™ framework. MITRE employees, sponsors, and the general public can watch remotely—via a YouTube live stream—simply by registering.
The event—dubbed MITRE ATT&CKcon—is the first of its kind. At this two-day conference, ATT&CK adopters will share how they are using ATT&CK in their products and applications, and how this new tool is being harnessed to improve cyber resiliency in a variety of industries.
MITRE ATT&CK is a globally-accessible knowledge base of adversary tactics and techniques based on real-world observations. The ATT&CK knowledge base is used as a foundation for the development of specific threat models and methodologies in the private sector, in government, and in the cybersecurity product and service community.
With the creation of ATT&CK, MITRE is fulfilling its mission to solve problems for a safer world—by bringing communities together to develop more effective cybersecurity. ATT&CK is open and available to any person or organization for use at no charge.
Its popularity and promise were evident in the response to MITRE's invitation to participate in ATT&CKcon. All of the seats MITRE opened to the public were sold out in 48 hours, and the remaining seats—for MITRE staff, media, sponsors, and invited attendees—were snapped up quickly as well.
While the available physical seats have been filled, MITRE will also be live-streaming the event on YouTube so that people can watch the proceedings from anywhere in the world. But registration is required. Go to the MITRE ATT&CK Conference WEBSITE HERE to sign up for this first-of-its-kind event. Once registered, you will receive an email with the links to watch live.
