The week of February 9th brought technology councils from around the country together in Washington. This marked the second such fly-in for the California Technology Council.
Organized by the Technology Councils of North America (TECNA) and TechAmerica, the occasion served to bring about 25 councils and 140 participants to Capitol Hill for two days.
Top issues discussed with public officials included net neutrality, the Internet Tax Freedom Act (S 431, Thune), the Innovation Act (HR 9, Goodlatte), and the Startup Jobs and Innovation Act (S 341, Toomey).
