Accelerator and incubator practitioners in the California Business Incubation Alliance (CBIA) were hosted for their regular quarterly meeting by Flex (formerly Flextronics) Lab IX on July 9th. The agenda for the meeting included a deep dive on engagement tools for CBIA professionals to stay connected on issues of best practice between meetings. The group also heard from Balaji Gopinath, former head of the Turner MediaCamp in San Francisco. The discussion ranged from corporate innovation strategies to varying levels of venture investment tied to accelerators of different types.
