On the eve of the 2016 edition of Giving Tuesday, CTC received the great news that Nixon Peabody would become a Laureate Sponsor of our new technology development foundation.

Nixon Peabody is a top 100 law firm with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley. The firm has already established leadership in tech transfer and commercialization dialogues with a number of institutions in California. The firm has expressed a strong willingness to support our efforts over the past year, including considerations of time, facilities, and financial commitment. All of these ingredients are essential to running nonprofits - especially those driven by armies of volunteers.

With this support, we are one-third of the way to our goal for lifting the foundation off in 2017. Though our Indiegogo campaign has ended, it’s not too late to get involved. To date, support has come from CEOs from Orange County to Marin, and from companies representing industries as varied as health IT and energy.
