Ori Biotech has developed an automated and scalable manufacturing platform for cell and gene therapies that seeks to increase capacity and quality while reducing costs. We spoke to Farlan Veraitch, co-founder and chief scientific officer of Ori, about the challenges of manufacturing cell and gene therapies, how the company’s platform addresses those issues, and why it is initially focusing on CAR-T cell therapies.
