The California Technology Council proudly supported the first ever Technology Fair of the California Chapter of the American College of Cardiology on Saturday, August 6th.

Based on demand from partners, CTC used the occasion to establish a new form of event production partnerships along the lines of its First Pitch series of demo days and startup acceleration. The new format, First Pitch Partners, will provide CTC members and collaborating institutions and accelerators, with an additional outlet for startup visibility and presentation opportunities in front of key audiences.

In this case, CTC worked with ACC to identify emerging biotech companies in cardiology, and invited them to present to this very important medical society, where companies could gain valuable exposure to expert practitioners, key opinion leaders, and potential advisors.

Tina Olson represented CTC at the event in Los Angeles.
