Water Pigeon Named Best in Show at First Pitch: Smart Cities

Novel water utility measurement startup Water Pigeon was named Best in Show at First Pitch: Smart Cities on April 17th. First Pitch: Smart Cities was produced in partnership with the global Smart Cities Council, inside the Smart Cities Week Conference in San Diego, held April 15th through 17th.

Partners on First Pitch: Smart Cities also included California Manufacturing and Technology Consulting, a Commerce Department Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), and Cleantech San Diego.

A panel of judges evaluated all of the presenting companies. Judges included representatives of the event partners, as well as technology partners T-Mobile and Qualcomm.
