The business IT spending outlook is perking up, as the rate of improvement is the best since the initial snapback after the deep cut that spending took in May 2020. The brightening outlook cuts across both budgeting and willingness to spend. Yet some uncertainly lingers because of the potential for disruptive spikes in coronavirus cases that could occur in the fall and winter months.
This report represents the findings of a May 2021 survey of approximately 500 primarily North American corporate respondents from 451 Alliance’s Leading Indicator panel focused on information technology spending plans in their organizations.
